How RINS collects, uses, and protects your information.

This Privacy Policy explains how RINS.COM LLC ("RINS," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use rins.com and related services (the "Service"). It is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

We do not intentionally collect special-category/sensitive personal data (such as government IDs, health, or biometric data). Please do not submit it through the Service.

We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by law (generally 30 days under GDPR/UK GDPR, extendable by 60 days; 45 days under CCPA/CPRA, extendable by 45 days). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Certain requests may be limited by exemptions (e.g., legal-retention obligations).

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): in the past 12 months we collect the categories described in Section 2 (identifiers, commercial/subscription information, internet activity, and the financial-account information held by our processor). We use and disclose them for the business purposes in Sections 3–4. We do not sell or share personal information or use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit. You may exercise access, deletion, correction, and opt-out rights as above, including through an authorized agent.

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, network protections, monitored infrastructure, and regular backups. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.

The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact legal@rins.com and we will delete it.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy with a new "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice (e.g., email or in-app notice). Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
